Renovation of Via Tortona building

Studio PP8 designed a facade steel structure for the renovation, financed by PNB Paribas, of a 80s building in via Tortona in Milan.

The intervention consisted in the construction of new external volumes that give to the building a new architectural shape and a system of vertical sun control louvers both made by a steel frame hidden by plaster board.

The first project proposals date back to summer 2014 while some month later the complex steel frame around the main facade curtain wall was designed.

In March 2015, the metal structures were completed and covered by plasterboard.
